Abstract:

This paper analyses crises by using two vectors: chronology and typology that together form the evolutionary path of the concept. The research is done on the last 150 years of economic evolution, starting from the Great Depression towards the .dotcom crisis and reaching the 2007 inflexion point of the latest crisis.
