Abstract:

This research paper represents an aggregated overview on (social) welfare, its relationship with globalization and the ideological “war” on the subject between the United States of America and Sweden. Economic policy that promotes social programs for the population should be targeted towards those in need and also they should be yielded with the available budget created for this type of social transfers.
