Abstract:

Additive Laser Manufacturing (ALM) is a set of processes which enable the manufacture of layer by layer by adding a metal powder, achieving a physical 3D model from a numerical model, using the sintering by laser power. Today, in the dental field had an industrial revolution concerning the manufacture of personalized dental implants and crowns, reducing process time, product weight and use of raw materials. This technology permits to obtain the products, using less energy, less landfill waste.
