Abstract:

One of the major objectives of the Russian Federation in today’s economic and political situation is to provide national self-sufficiency in the field of manufacturing medical goods which are meant for diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from various diseases and injuries. To reach this objective it is necessary to reestablish connections between universities and business in terms of commercialization of inventions. The goal of the paper is to develop methodological tools for commercialization of innovative medical devices based on assessment of socioeconomic and technoeconomic effects from the introduced new technologies and serial production of innovative goods given the development level of engineering and technology, influence of external environment and availability of raw material resources and human capital in Russia.
