Multicriterial Model of MSD Risk Identification

Abstract:

This model identifies the risk of MSDs in the workplace and was compiled based on data from French study [1]. Selected risk factors were divided into three groups, personal risk factors, medical history, and occupational and biomechanical constraints. Relative risk, attributable risk, attributable risk percentage, population attributable risk and population attributable risk percentage determine the level of risk. The resulting model then says how the risk of MSD would decrease in the exposed and unexposed groups, if that risk factor is removed.
