Abstract:

Researchers and practitioners recognize the importance of business process modeling in enterprise architecture management, project management and management in general. However, business process modeling is only a specialization (and application domain) of the conceptual modeling discipline. The role of conceptual modeling for business purposes is growing – it can support requirements analysis, decision making, knowledge management etc. This paper proposes a new modeling language to support mind mapping tasks in a project management context. Technical details are provided about its implementation as a tool, built in the open use ADOxx metamodeling platform.
