Development of Entrepreneurship Based Learning Model to Increase Physics Learning Outcomes of Students

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop entrepreneurship based learning model with the purpose to increase physics learning outcomes by making the students become creative and innovative in physics learning. The focus of this research is to develop a model of entrepreneurial learning to be implemented to high school students of class X Science program. The method used is ASSURE, which consists of six stages: analyze learner, state objectives, select methods, Utilize media and materials, require learner participation, Evaluate and revise. Product assessment conducted by peer physics lecturers which consist of media experts and learning material experts. Product testing is done by testing to class X high school students of Bani Saleh, MIA 1, Bekasi, Indonesia. The Result of this research is Syntax-Entrepreneurship Based Learning Model: IOAME (1. Introduction: a-perception, motivation, 2. Organize: arrangement of the learning material to be creative, innovative, systematic and contextual, 3. Action: Implementation of learning material with an efficient and effective treatment, 4. Maintain: Maintain the achievement of learning effectiveness, 5. Evaluation: Suggestions and revisions of learning that has been done to further learning. The validation result of the development of entrepreneurship based learning model is 87% valid according to the media experts and learning material experts. The students learning outcomes showed that by applying the Entrepreneurship based learning model in the classroom, there is an increase outcomes of students learning in fluid static physics material with n-gain value of 0.67 (Good category).
