A Preliminary Study on Competitive Intelligence in Developing Economies: Malaysia Case Study

Abstract:

Competitive intelligence has long been recognized as a strategic management tool that could enhance competitiveness and is the process of developing actionable foresight regarding competitive dynamics and non-market factors that can be used to enhance competitiveness. This perception of competitive intelligence as a strategic tool is not exclusive to developed countries. The research will be a survey of companies in eight industrial sectors in Malaysia.
