Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to analyse the youth labour market in Romania compared to the EU, and to identify the factors (personal and environmental characteristics) that determine the youth status in the labour market: employed versus unemployed. The results indicate that the most vulnerable youth are adolescents (15 to 19 years) with a low level of education and coming from poor families.
