Abstract:

The currently observed decline in the efficiency of research-and-development and innovation activity in Russian universities may further aggravate the economic stagnation in the country. This negative trend could be overcome through the development and implementation of effective ways to interact within research universities based on unlocking as much of the scholarly potential of academic staff as possible.
