Abstract:

Over the last 20 years, research focused on integrating and automating business processes. In this context, ERP, CRM, SCM systems have known a big development. Withal, recent research show an increasing interest on automated process model discovery from natural text. This paper aims to give a comprehensive account of the existing tools meant to discover process models from natural language text.The study is not limited only to business process discovery [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10], but it also provides case studies from several _elds such as medical [9] or archaeological [11]. Even if not all the tools developed starting with 2007 until present are clearly depicting which Natural Language Processing tools/libraries have used, a review of each approach is presented.
