Abstract:

This paper deals with the perception of chosen factors, which can influence the satisfaction of Chinese tourists when visiting the Czech Republic, and compares these preferences to the preferences of German tourists, specifically in the favourite city Český Krumlov (Czech Republic). The findings indicate that both German and Asian tourists prefer pre-ordered stays and prefer culture attractions. On the other hand, the biggest difference in their preferences was identified in the case of preference for spending leisure time, means of transport and seasonality of holiday. Presented results can be used as recommendations for accommodation facilities and other enterprises in tourism.
