Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to consider time as an economic factor through the prism of historical-philosophical concepts of time from ancient times to the present days, as well as to study the transformation of time into the factor of production in the industrial society. Using the philosophical method of historical and logical unity, the authors examine the economic approach which allows to clarify the reasons for the contradictory historical picture about the value of time.
