Abstract:

This article presents short characteristics of Production Flow Control (PFC) systems, which are effective extension of traceability systems. Next a concept of a PFC system’s communication protocol for tracking identifiable discrete products is presented. The protocol’s concept includes an approach regarding blocking of defective discrete products to prevent them from further processing and therefore avoiding the situation, where a defective product finally is sent to a customer.
