Abstract:
The task of health care is to provide services to patients’ needs at different times and places and to provide care in various ways – through in-person visits, telephone and internet. eHealth technologies are generally considered being an important advantage for health institutions and organizations. This proposal document describes how a technology-organization-environment framework and self-efficacy theory construct allows the analysis of the factors that impact eHealth attainment in Africa to be made. The study will develop a framework based on the two theories. The validity and reliability of the measurement instrument will be tested with the aid of a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Also, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) will be employed to validate the path in developing the framework.
