A Framework for Integrating ICT in Romania’s Creative Economy

Abstract:

The main goal of this study is to offer insights over the creative industries sector. The conducted analysis provides an overview of the labour work-force status and the added value brought by this specific economic sector. Nowadays, young individuals develop in a digital rooted society permanently connected to social platforms with latest generation of Internet access. It is, therefore, highly important to promote the role of sustainable and qualitative youth education and its impact on the development of creative sectors. Increasing the faith for young generation in creative industries should be correlated with the education process as a whole. The article concludes that Romanian cultural and creative sector has a great potential for development. A business orientation on these industries and the development of domestic production could be rewarded in the near future with successful returns. In this contextual framework, the usage of the ICT which is a mandatory key driver for investments, alongside the creative industries reveals higher returns and a favourable business growth in the sector of creative economy.
