Abstract:

This paper describes a framework that relies on the possibility offered by web services programming for helping software developers to use code exposed on the web in a graphical way. The framework is built on Sun Java 2 SDK Enterprise Edition and Sun Web Services Developer Pack, which have non commercial licenses. The main access point to the software is a graphical user interface that manages connections to java based servers and software assembly. Operations common to image processing have been taken into consideration, keeping in mind also software modules reusability and reassembling even when working with different kind of images and algorithms.
