Abstract:
In today’s automotive world, which is continuously focused on improving its performance, traditional practices like Lean, Kaizen or Total Quality management are supported by performance management frameworks.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) represent the basis of performance improvement, as they can offer a clear overview and sustain the improvement of the manufacturing processes.
This research papers analyses the most important KPIs to be used in injection molding production departments and offers a clear KPI framework that can be implemented for improving performance results.
