Abstract:
Working while studying has serious implications for students’ academic performances, as well as for their motivation to study. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse the motivation for working among master students in economics in Romania and how universities can adapt to their needs. In this paper, the situation of youths working during their studies in Romania is presented. Secondly, the results of a qualitative pilot study performed on working master students at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies are revealed. Finally, some conclusions and reccomendations are given.
