A Method for Knowledge-work-study

Abstract:

In this paper, we present a method for knowledge-work-study. To do so, after a literature review, over various models on knowledge production, we first extract the main knowledge production factors and product utility indices. For each utility index, we calculate the weights of each production factor by AHP. Based on these weights, linear production functions are then established. These functions show the relationships between resources and each utility index which can be used in both knowledge worker employment and better production planning. The proposed method can be used to clarify the relationships between inputs and outputs and provides a general framework for knowledge production control and increase of productivity by a systematic improvement of resources to reach to the desired utility. We apply this method in Ghods newspaper in Mashad-Iran. The t test verifies the performance of our method.
