Abstract:
Traditional teaching methods are increasingly challenged by approaches that bring more dynamic, engaging, and exciting elements to education to improve learning. Thus, by incorporating interactive elements, engaging narratives, and stimulating challenges, educational games have the potential to turn learning history into a captivating and meaningful experience. In this paper, we present the conceptual framework before the development of a support module that allows an original tabletop card game to continue to be used for its original purpose as an educational game but transforms it into a multiplayer digital game tool to support teachers in History lessons.
