Abstract:

Business intelligence application collects, transforms, analyzes and presents valuable information to assist enterprise decision. However, there is still a lack of academic literatures on the BI architecture with service-oriented approach. This paper presents a service-oriented architecture in business intelligence environment. Based upon various reference BI architecture from major BI vendors such as IBM and Microsoft, a modern BI architecture that is built on service-oriented concept is proposed and described in this paper.
