Abstract:
Noise is a factor identified at workplaces which, through it’s effect on workers, can negatively influence psychological well-being and the nervous system, posing a real threat to human health. In most cases it’s a source of deterioration in productivity and quality of work. Research on the impact of noise on workers exposed to this factor has been going on for many years. Publications in this field confirm the hypotheses on the relationship between exposure to sound publications in this field confirm the hypothesis on the relationship between exposure to high sound levels and health problems. Researchers at the Johann Gutenberg University in Mainz have shown a relationship between noise-induced irritation and heart disorders. The study was described in the International Journal of Cardiology in 2018 [Münzel T., Hahad O., 2018]. It should be noted that the positive effects of ensuring a proper acoustic climate at the workplace are indicated, which translates into productivity and quality of work [Ian D., OiLing S., 2001]. It is worth emphasizing, it is worth noting that noise lowers speech intelligibility, which can significantly affect occupational safety, and disturbs the perception of warning signals, which translates into an increased risk of accidents at work.
