Abstract:
Information quality research has been matured significantly over the last two decades whereas organizations have applied the same to a varying degree of success. This means that quality activities in organizations are not implemented properly or organizations do not understand quality issues clearly. In order to thoroughly understand the concepts of quality initiatives and implement them to information quality, review of quality concept and information quality research including dimensions and frameworks are absolutely necessary. The aim of this research is to provide general understanding of quality concept and fundamental of information quality to the organizations which pursue high quality of information continuously.
