Abstract:

The use of Web services has become popular in Web application development and it has attracted interest from both industry and academia. Although much research effort has been put into the discovery, invocation and composition of services, not much has been paid to Web services testing. Issues that are unique to Web services make it difficult to simply make use of existing software testing techniques. This paper aims to provide a mapping study of the current Web services testing researches conducted by other researchers, focusing in the area of Web services composition. By looking at the areas focused by existing researchers, gaps and untouched area of Web services composition testing can be discovered.
