Abstract:
Business process self-adaptation has become the topic of interest to a lot of researches whose objective is to avoid the error-prone and time-consuming lost caused by the manual process adaptation at run-time. So, several contributions in this topic have been proposed. This survey aims to systematically classify these contributions and discusses their strengths and limitations along typical recommendations related to process self-adaptation. Along this classification, we present criteria for the self-adaptation of running process and analyze how actual contributions satisfy some of them. In addition, we provide a detailed comparison of these contributions and give some recommendation related to the process self-adaptation.
