Accounting Students’ Intention in Following ERP Simulation Game

Abstract:

This research aimed to analyze the factors that affect the intention of accounting students in university in following ERP simulation game. Gender, self-efficacy, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and atttitude were the factors predicted affecting students’ intention in following ERP simulation game.  Data collection was performed by using questionnaire provided to 118 respondents. This research uses Structural Equation Models (SEM), using Smart PLS to analyze the data. The result of this research implies that attitude affects students’ intention positively to follow ERP simulation game. In addition, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have positive effect toward attitude. Furthermore, self-efficacy and gender also have positive effect on ease of use. However, this research found that gender do not affect the usefulness of ERP simulation game.
