Abstract:
Engineering graduates face multiple changing demands on their competencies. In recent years interdisciplinarity and globalization have transformed engineering communities into uniform arena of collaboration which are expanding beyond nationality, culture and context. Setting skills for collaborative engineering is quickly becoming a topic of great interest in recent years due to the explosion of internet technologies. Engineering students must have good communication skills, collaboration, information networks, feedback and reception, teamwork, and even in some cases cultural understanding.
To achieve the proposed target requires a simultaneous change in the university curriculum, extending networking and social debates by key influnecers. Universities system needs to provide graduates with relevant occupational skills in today's work communities.
The research team propose to use a comprehensive set of analytic tools and frameworks to create blue oceans of new market space involving technical companies from Timisoara to support students in engineering by offering a special training online during one semester in faculty wich is finalise with a project. In this context the authors propose to use the Blue-Ocean Strategy creating, innovations that can sustain business in Timisoara for the future engineers.
