Abstract:

Despite the first tests of the DVB-T2 standard, many countries have not completed the implementation of this technique. The article presents measurement results showing the advantages of using the new standard. The new standard allows you to expand the programming offer, improve the quality of the transmitted image, and increases resistance to channel interference. The new standard requires the purchase of a new TV set or external decoder. Today, a set-top box is now relatively cheap. The change in the standard means an improvement in the program offer, with little inconvenience of the required purchase.
