Abstract:
The adoption of the AFIR (Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation) generates numerous challenges in the field of electromobility infrastructure, which must be met by EU member states. Poland, as an EU member, has faced a huge challenge of adapting the alternative fuels infrastructure to the AFIR requirements. Because the analyzed infrastructure in Poland is not adapted to the AFIR requirements and is developing too slowly. The article presents the basic assumptions of AFIR, defines the TEN-T networks, describes the structure of the electric vehicle market in Germany and Poland, and plans for the development of alternative fuels infrastructure on the example of Poland
