Abstract:

The article discusses the most important features of agriculture, which are absolutely unavoidable in nature. It has been established that market mechanisms cannot function in the same country. It is noted that modern reformers over the past 20 years have not been able to create an effective economic mechanism for the functioning of the agro-industrial complex. Under economic sanctions, more than ever, the role of the state is regulated by the agri-food sector of the economy of the Russian Federation. Food security remains a global problem. It is possible to solve the problem of food supply by building the economic mechanism of state regulation of agriculture. To this end, various problems of state regulation of the agricultural sector were analyzed. As research methods, methods of study, generalization and abstraction were used.
