Alineamiento Estratégico y Clima Organizacional en Personal Universitario: Análisis Sociodemográfico Desde una Perspectiva Cuantitativa

Abstract:

This study examines the interrelationship between sociodemographic factors, strategic alignment, and organizational climate among personnel at a confessional higher education institution in Peru during 2022. A non-experimental design of descriptive, correlational, and comparative nature was employed. The sample included 299 collaborators from various faculties and locations. The instruments were validated through factor analysis (KMO = 0.945 for organizational climate; KMO = 0.887 for strategic alignment) with Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.981 and 0.914 respectively. Findings reveal that 83.6% of personnel perceive a favorable to very favorable organizational climate, while 43.5% maintain acceptable to optimal levels of strategic alignment. Regarding knowledge of strategic elements, 32.8% possess good to excellent knowledge of institutional vision, 38.8% of mission, and 59.2% of values. Spearman correlation analysis indicated that multiple sociodemographic factors have significant relationships with both variables. It is concluded that more than one sociodemographic factor is related to strategic alignment and organizational climate in the analyzed institution.
