An analysis of microbiological purity of canned beverage packaging with consideration of individual distribution processes

Abstract:

Majority of beverage cans for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are made of aluminum. These are especially ideal for storing carbonated beverages due to their resilience. In addition, aluminum cans are entirely recyclable, so that more than half of any cans produced end up back in the hands of consumers. The manufacturing process for aluminum cans begins with the delivery of rolled aluminum mat of appropriate thickness to the factory. Currently, the most common way of can manufacturing process is the Draw and Wall Ironing (DWI) method.
