Abstract:

This paper proposes a network-based Balanced Scorecard (BSC) System for Philippine-based Collegiate Institutions that measures the performance of its various departments in key result areas in line with the College’s mission and strategy. The paper explains the concept behind the Balanced Scorecard and its application and benefits for an educational institution. The mechanics of the BSC System are discussed and illustrated and its systems architecture is presented. Finally, a deployment plan is proposed for the system’s roll-out throughout the College.
