Abstract:

The article discusses the issues of assessing the efficiency of innovative processes in the economic systems at the regional level in the context of the blocks of innovative development: development of innovations and use of innovations. The main goal of this study is to develop an appropriate methodology for assessing the efficiency of innovative processes and the differentiation of Russia’s regions through this methodology according to the level of individual blocks development of the innovation process. The results of this study can be used as a basis for forming the strategies of regional innovative integration that involve the creation of effective clusters belonging to different groups according to the level of blocks development of the innovation process. The developed methodology can also be used at the country level to assess and identify the most innovatively developed and competitive countries.
