Abstract:
The competition between countries, regions, groups of companies and individual companies is becoming increasingly complex, due to globalization and trade liberalization. Challenges to the competitiveness of companies, especially SMEs, are more difficult to identify and overcome. Will continue to manifest the effects of globalization and the new economy based on knowledge and quick communication. There will be new services and products focused or facilitated by the technology of information and communications. Communication will enhance consumer power to inform himself and react to market, consolidating their power of decision. Corporate social responsibility, reputation in the market, the degree of positive association of organizations and individuals and quality management will become key assets of firms. International trade and trade finance will slowly recover from the financial crisis, but the impact on global exporters and economic implications are not yet fully apparent. New rules for prudent behavior of banks and financial institutions will have an impact on exports, and also on banks' cautious relations, in particular with SMEs.
