Analysis of Differences in Perception of Selected Aspects of Organizational Culture from the Perspective of Expatriates

Abstract:

One of the consequences of globalization is the establishment of branches of international companies in foreign countries, as well as the increasing number of employees sent from the home country to the host country, the so-called expatriates who present the category of high performance workers. The paper presents research results of the analysis of differences in the perception of selected elements of organizational culture from the perspective of expatriates and local employees. The paper tested four statistical hypotheses to verify the existence of statistically significant differences in the perception of selected elements of organizational culture, namely workplace atmosphere, addressing interpersonal conflicts, ethical behavior of employees, and communication.
