Abstract:
Existing research recognizes different factors of digital SME development, yet it is largely focused on developed markets, while specific features of this type of the companies is overlooked by research in case of emerging markets. The emerging markets, on the other hand, in many cases feature more regulation and control, than the developed markets – when it comes to the company level. Within the proposed research we have studied the relation between digital SME employees ability to innovate and intention to innovate to the results of innovation implementation, finding that the studied case of Russian emerging market features decreased innovation production intention alone the timeline.
