Abstract:

The article made a study of the relationship of such macroeconomic indicators as investment attractiveness, investment activity and the environmental situation in the region. The purpose of the study is to find relationships between these indicators, for this we use various methods of mathematical statistics, as well as machine learning. To calculate the investment attractiveness and investment activity in the region, the methodology proposed by I. Roizman, J. Grishina and A. Shakhnazarov was used, which uses 18 socio-economic indicators of the region, which were taken from «RosStat». To assess the environmental situation in the region, we took the calculated data from the consolidated rating of the «Green Patrol» organization, which was compiled using a methodology based on 21 regional environmental indicators. The study will make it possible to find out what impact the ecology of the region has on its investment performance, as well as whether it is possible to predict investment attractiveness on the basis of investment activity and ecological situation in the region
