Analysis of the COTS Prototyping Solutions for Bluetooth Submeter Localization System

Abstract:

Precise localization systems are becoming more desirable from the point of view of commercial solutions and systems supporting user safety. The Bluetooth standard enables the implementation of such a system by providing methods allowing for the precise determination of the angle between the transmitting station and the receiver. However, to develop the whole system, it is necessary to prepare the hardware base that will be the basis of its operation. The article analyzes commercial of the shelf solutions available on the market that enable the development of software that allows for precise location of user devices.
