Abstract:

The reaserch deals with the issue of the impact of the ICT sector on the rate of economic growth in the European Union countries in the period 2009 – 2018. The paper presents the relationship between the ICT sector and GDP. The literature on the subject was presented, guided by contemporary studies. The empirical study refers to the latest annual data from Eurostat and World Bank databases. The results of the research were discussed and the results obtained in the empirical study were widely discussed.
