Analysis of the Perception of Beneficiaries Regarding the Process of Accessing EU Funds in Tourism

Abstract:

Accessing EU funds is one of the most important activities of a country. It contributes to the development of various areas of activity, enabling beneficiaries to draw up a series of projects to subsequently implement in development regions. In order for the impact of EU funded projects to be as powerful as possible, it is important that their objectives be consistent both with regional and national ones. Only in this way, projects financed from EU funds can record important results, whose impact can be analysed at a later point in time. This paper aims to study the perception of beneficiaries regarding the process of accessing EU funds in Romania. The paper includes a quantitative study which was conducted on a sample of 312 beneficiaries. The study was conducted in 2016.
