Abstract:

The derivatives market is a financial market subset showing a rapid growth and constituting one of the biggest segments of financial systems in advanced economies. The article focuses on the Russian derivatives market in 2016-2018 with an account for additional data since 2012, trading transactions dynamics explored by types of derivatives present on the Russian market, as well as prospective tendencies of this segment of the Russian financial market.
