Analysis of the situation of Romanian Village – case study Grindu commune, Ialomita County

Abstract:

Some of the main problems that ar facing the Romanian village are represented by the exodus of young people to urban centers and accelerated aging of the population, this being due to several factors. Among them the lack of jobs, contributing to a high degree of poverty; unsatisfactory social conditions in these regions, with reference to the absence or insufficient equipment of medical practices, absence or poor equipment in schools, etc.
These issues affect the lives of rural residents, which is why, especially young ones decide to migrate to urban centers where they have the chance to secure a relatively secure source of income required to start a family. Obviously moving in a city does not necessarily mean a steady job or a decent living, but many young people believe that such person is offered a promising alternative to staying in the village / town home.
