Abstract:

The article presents the analysis of waste management in sample EU countries. When using components of the natural environment, all entities operating on the market are required to be guided by the principles of sustainable development and to meet the objectives of the circular economy, which is a modern management model. In the regions of the EU, despite the same requirements for the implementation of circular economy solutions, there are different conditions in the adjustment and implementation of appropriate solutions. The paper analyzes and compares the applied waste management systems and their impact on changes in the amounts of municipal waste generated.
