Antecedents and Consequences of Work Group Engagement

Abstract:

All employees are a major problem in the management of all global organizations. This concept is increasingly important among managers. However, little research is currently done to discuss antecedents and discussion of employee participation, specifically employee workgroups in an organization. To achieve this goal, the organization requests participation in work besides individual work, also works in groups on the support of the organization received and the welfare of the distribution of work. The success achieved by working group participation gives success to these groups. In this study, we conducted an antecedent investigation (organizational support received and distributed) and support (group support) from working group participation in Indonesian tertiary institutions. The snowball sampling method was interviewed using research instruments from an employee working group. The results obtained from organizational support received and received by the group, the linkage of justice distribution and group support, the linkage of groups and group support, as well as supporting research hypotheses that support the group mediate the relationship between antecedents and change from groups. Thus, the purpose of this study is to discuss the antecedent model and discuss group meetings. Relationships are related based on social transportation theory.
