Anthropological Foundation of Digital Culture: To the Problem of «Ecology Worldview»

Abstract:

The article shows that the virtual world cannot claim the status of culture in the classical sense, because it has no key characteristics: the ability to symbolize forms, reproducibility, ethical criteria. The absence of ethical standards and spiritual aspects is one of the main problems of the phenomenon of digital reality. Prospects for the development of Digital Culture in the anthropological aspect are associated with the need for its philosophical understanding and identification of the influence on the spiritual world of human being. The students are heterogeneous in the virtual behavior related to the Internet and the perception of Digital Culture. Three behavioral patterns were defined in the virtual environment among the students. These patterns influence students’ ecological outlook and real behavior.
