Abstract:

Accelerated technological development and development of health technologies in particular brings a distinct value to the bioethical issues. The emergence of bioethics is associated with increased attention to the protection of research subject rights. In this paper, we discuss the use of information technologies and social media in conducting clinical trials and related ethical aspects of protecting rights and interests of research subjects. A set of measures to protect the rights of research subjects related to implementation of information technologies in clinical trials are proposed in the paper.
