Abstract:
In the era of progressing globalization and the information society, the wealth of knowledge and flow of information is essential for sustainable development and economic growth. The big problem with which modern decision makers meet is, above all, a very large amount of information and difficulties in the interpretation of statistical data. It is true that many institutions and government agencies conduct research on the development of individual continents, countries, areas and social groups, resulting in integrated indicators describing changes in the social and economic development.
