Abstract:

This paper deals with the application of tourism area life cycle in development strategy of mountain tourist resorts. The main goal is to identify the TALC phases based on the analysis results and to defune suitable tourism development strategies in the mountain resorts Donovaly and Spindleruv Mlyn while considering tourism development standards. We examine supply, demand, residents and selected socio-economic indicators which help us to identify phases of the life cycle of both tourist resorts.
